We currently have an exciting opportunity for:
Dermatological Surgical Technologist to support the Naval Medical Center
at San Diego, CA. This position requires:
- A graduate of a Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), or
- A graduate of a military specialty school of surgical or operating room technicians or surgical technologists, or
- A graduate of a military dermatology technologist school
- Certification either as a Technologist in Surgery (TS-C) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from the Liaison Council on Certification for Surgical Technologists (LCC-ST)
- Possess a minimum of 2 years experience within the preceding 3 years as a Surgical Technologist.
- Possess a minimum of 3 months assisting the surgeon in Mohs micrographic surgery and post-operative wound care within the preceding 12 months
